The Southern Cross Classic is a two-day event that will start at Pheasants Nest (Near Bargo), overnight at Yass, and finish at a location in the Southern Tablelands. It will run over approximately 290 km, with minimum use of unsealed roads.

For Masters and Apprentices, it will use 1980s maps.
